Nelson Schmidt is a Brazilian director, animation director and Executive Producer whose work fuses kinetic action with music-driven storytelling and cultural depth, bringing authenticity and emotional charge to game cinematics high end animation.

He’s helped shape the cinematic language of Valorant, directing or leading more than 15 trailers, cinematics, and videos for the franchise — including Raze: Color of the Town and Only Good Things, cultural milestones that highlighted Riot’s commitment to authentic representation. Also. worked alongside Disney to work on their Pride Month Shorts initiative.

As both a fan and a player, Nelson brings insider knowledge of Riot’s games, lore, and competitive scene to every project, ensuring every frame feels true to the fans who live and breathe these worlds.
